How fortunate to be asked to photograph two beautiful twin sister's for the passage of their communion. Cortney and Katie were soulfull and lovely in their pure elegant dresses and whispy veils. They were very good not to get dirty during our session and were most patient with me during the graying skies and cold breeze that chilled us all!
We closed the park at 7pm a lovely hour. Thanks to my beautiful subjects.
Have a wondeful communion day girls!

Elliana Swartz and her band of merry singers went to the Lufton Towers in Lincroft yesterday as one of their performances that day and I was fortunate to be there to witness with my camera. These girls were so lovely and joyful that they made the room shine brightly with love and kindness. The audience was delighted and insisted on an encore!
What a sweet mitzvah, thanks Ellie. Here are a few shots from the 4pm performance.

What a great job these girls are doing supporting each other as a community. TBM is a wonderful community!

What a lovely afternoon with Jen and her mom in the alley's of urban Long Branch where secret art stands waiting to be used.
Jen looked so beautiful with this colorful expression of city art. She has a perfect look for this fabulous out of the way locale.
Congratulations Jen on your Bat Mitzvah!!!

This girl is smart, sweet and lovely!

Thank you, Jen, for allowing me the opportunity to show everyone how ready you are to be called to the Torah!.

Frank Settembrino is the best and most creative stone mason and tile artist in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
He is the easy going, dependable and inspired concerning any project.
I have been photographing Franks Creations for 3 years and I want to share some of his amazing designs.

Frank did this wall with Peanut stone, excavated locally. He shaped and trimmed and dry set this beautiful wall.

These Chinese, Teak stone steps work beautifully with the Peanut stone risers detailed with a bullnose edge makes this side door entry look like old Europe.
Notice the hand shaped peanut Stone tapered Piers which was Frank's unique contribution.

In this exquisite garden by the homeowner, Robert, Frank hand built his signature fence post and arbor acid washed faux wood.
A beautiful accent that not only looks stunning but is functional as well.
On another location Frank Built the walkway to the front door and patio that overlooks Ocean ave in the Highlands.
He also designed the stone work, pillars and built the door that is part the grand entrance from the private driveway.

This inspired bluestone walkway continues meandering throug out the grounds.

Onto this bluestone patio. Frank designed and repaired the railings as well.

combining the fine stone work with native peanut stone.
Just simply exquisite!

Lance and I were fortunate enough to be asked to photograph the story of Bridget's sweet 16 party at the Rennaisance this winter. What a blast we had, except for the fact that we were 40 minutes late! That was a first time for us, traditionally we like to show up early to insure a leisure setup time for placing lights and testing equipment.
What a shock! I just grabbed my camera and started shooting pictures while Lance set up our off camera flash and other effect flashes we use in large venues.
The lysaght's were good enough to wait for me but as soon as my camera was up to my eye they started the procession of Brifgets "court" and I had to pan with the action as I had no light ... these pictures came out streaky and fun- Bridget loves them...
What a beautiful night and the unique theme for this right of passage was Japan and to celebrate her love for Asian culture Bridget wore a Kimono.
Bridget changed her kimono and wore a stunning dress great for photographs! It was so much fun shooting in the dressing room with mom. Bridget you looked so beautiful in your dress and your hair and make up were perfect!
What a wild and lovely affair! It's a blessing to have such artistic customers to photograph. Never a dull image! Bridget you are simply lovely!
Below are 4 spreads from bridgets album, an 8x12 book modeled after the Manga Book, so it opens left to right!
Thank you Terry, Esther and Bridget for asking us to tell the story of this most imprortant rite of passage.

It was a beautiful September indian summer's eve and we met the Conlons at our favorite beach for sunset sessions.
There was another photographer shooting beach portraits that evening her families cued up on the sea wall steps like airplanes waiting for their turn on the runway.
We ran around and played on the beach. I clicked away recording our time while waiting for real sunset light.
The warm light grew and our session started to go well when and I noticed the line of families were gone along with their photographer.
Alone on the beach this is what we made together....
what a lovely night....

Renee asked me create a family portrait and here's what we came up with! The sims family is constantly growing and changing! Reign is the newest member of the clan- a sweet drop of honey into an already loving amd warm family. Renee's home is a work of art, a custom designed space created specifcally to meet her families needs and creative impulses, complete with an awesome movie theater! (I really would love to make a movie with of this family running around this amazing home and show it to them in their theater!)
suburbia gone wild!!!!
These photographs are about family, connections and color! It was a blast to work together with her family to make the Grand Staircase display and conservatory installation for her very unique home.
Thank you Renee for allowing us to become part of your collection!
I hope you enjoy them always...
Our plan is to hang a 20x30 printwrap on the staricase wall shown behind their heads where they are standing. Plus we have 2 more 12x12 to put inside the moulding on the wall adjacent to behind deidre. It is going to be smashing!

This will be framed and hung to the left side of the mirror in the image in the conservancy in a 40x60 frame, large moulding and wide cut matte to match the feeling of the room.
